Max Levine, MS has diverse work experience in the fields of research, consulting, and physical therapy. From 2022, they have been working as a Senior Research Associate at Tenaya Therapeutics. Prior to that, they worked as a Life Sciences Research Professional II at Stanford University School of Engineering from 2019 to 2022. Max also served as a Scientific Consultant at BigHat Biosciences from 2020 to 2021 and at Armada Biosystems from 2020 to 2021.

Before transitioning to the research field, Max was involved in several roles at California Polytechnic State University. Max worked as a Researcher I in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry from June 2019 to November 2019. Prior to that, they served as an Undergraduate Laboratory Technician in the Biological Sciences Department from January 2016 to January 2017.

Max also gained experience in the customer service industry as a Ticketing Agent at Cal Poly Corporation from 2015 to 2016. In the field of physical therapy, they worked as a Physical Therapy Aide at Team Movement for Life from 2014 to 2015, where they assisted physical therapists in patient rehabilitation and administered modalities.

Additionally, Max had leadership roles at Alpha Epsilon Pi, where they served as President from June 2014 to December 2014, leading chapter meetings, coordinating events, and increasing membership. Max also served as a New Member Educator from 2013 to 2014, guiding new members through their initiation process.

Max Levine earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in the years 2011 to 2015. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued and completed a Master's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the same institution.
