Chief Supply Chain Officer at Tenaris

Gabriel María Casanova has a diverse work experience primarily in the supply chain and logistics domains. Gabriel María currently serves as the Chief Supply Chain Officer at Tenaris, a position they have held since May 2018. Prior to this role, they held various leadership positions within Tenaris, including the roles of Supply Chain Network Director and Supply Chain Director - Europe from 2009 to 2012. Gabriel María also served as a Business Unit Director from 2005 to 2007.

Before joining Tenaris, Gabriel worked at Tenaris - Dalmine where they held multiple roles such as Commercial Manager Europe, Commercial Manager Italy, Commercial Planning Manager, and Executive Assistant to BU Director. Gabriel María was responsible for managing commercial operations and played a key role in business planning and development.

Earlier in their career, Gabriel served as the Chief Representative China at Tenaris / Siderca and worked as a Logistic Manager, Maritime Transportation Responsible, and Logistics Analyst at Tenaris - Siderca. Gabriel María started their professional journey as a Trainee - Production Engineer at Alianza Shipyards.

Throughout their career, Gabriel has gained extensive experience in supply chain management, logistics, commercial operations, and leadership roles.

Gabriel María Casanova completed a Management Development Program at The Wharton School in 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a postgraduate degree in Welding Science and Technology from Universidad de Buenos Aires - Comision Nacional de Energia Atómica, which was completed from 1986 to 1987. In their earlier years, Gabriel completed their Engineer's degree in Marine and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires, spanning from 1976 to 1983.
