Toby King has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Toby started their career as a Junior Clerk at Save-On-Foods in 2007 and worked their way up to become a Warehouse Manager, responsible for handling, ordering, receiving, and shipping groceries.
In 2013, Toby worked as a Door-to-Door Sales Representative for KK Sales & Marketing, selling child-sponsorship programs for a children's charity. Toby was promoted to the managerial program Pathways and trained new employees in door-to-door sales.
From 2014 to 2016, Toby worked at Toll Group as a Customer Service Representative and later as part of the customer service and freight solutions team. Their responsibilities included customer liaison, computer administration, and warehouse maintenance.
In 2015, Toby worked as a Neurosurgical and Stereotactic Radiosurgery Clerical Officer at the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Toby was responsible for handling patient notes and providing administrative support to the neurosurgical team.
In 2020, Toby took on two different roles. Toby worked as a Freelance Writer for Inside Survivor and also as part of the Marketing & Sales team at Metgo Mechanical Services Ltd.
Currently, Toby is employed at Ten Lifestyle Group as a Partnerships Manager for the EMEA Entertainment Proposition. Prior to this role, they held positions such as Team Leader for the General Sale Team and Senior Lifestyle Manager for EMEA Tickets.
Throughout their career, Toby has demonstrated attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to adapt to different industries and roles.
Toby King has a diverse education history. Toby attended South Delta Secondary School in Delta, British Columbia, Canada from 2003 to 2008. After a gap, they pursued further education at the Chartered Management Institute, where they obtained a Level 3 Diploma in Leadership & Management in 2019-2020, focusing on Business Administration and Management. In the same year, they also enrolled at City Lit, specializing in Playwriting and Screenwriting until 2019-2021. Starting in 2020, Toby King joined the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) to pursue a Diploma in Journalism, which they completed in 2022. Additionally, during their time at NCTJ, they focused on Sports Journalism from 2020 to 2021.
