Christy Valente, MBA, serves as the Interim Director of Strategy Business Development at TELUS since November 2017, leading initiatives in copper decommissioning and monetization while contributing to the circular economy. Valente has held various managerial roles, including Manager of Technology Strategy and Manager of Operations, where significant achievements include restructuring teams, integrating project management platforms, and optimizing operational efficiencies. Prior experience encompasses leadership roles at SAIT Polytechnic, focusing on administrative and operational enhancements, as well as project coordination at Service Intelligence, Inc., where business improvement projects and sales processes were streamlined. Christy Valente holds an Executive MBA from the Haskayne School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Francis Xavier University.
