Jim Riley, MA, LPCC, NCC, currently serves as a School Based Mental Health Counselor with Telluride School District No. R-1 since August 2022, providing mental health support to children, adolescents, and adults. Prior to this role, Jim was a Mental Health Counselor and intern for San Miguel County, where clinical experience included addressing a range of mental health issues. Jim's diverse background also includes experience as a stay-at-home dad, Development & Marketing Manager at Telluride Mountainfilm, and various roles in communications, event management, and economic development. Jim holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University, alongside several certificates in holistic health and energy medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Minnesota.
