Richard Peters, MD, PhD has held various key positions in the biopharmaceutical industry. Richard is the Founder and Executive Chairman of TellBio, Inc. since August 2019. Additionally, they serve as the Lead Independent Director and Chair of the Nomination & Governance Committee at Kineta from 2022. Richard is also the Director and Chair of the Compensation Committee at Aprea Therapeutics since 2020. In the past, they worked as an Investor and Corporate Advisor at Aura Biosciences and served as President, CEO, and Director at Yumanity Therapeutics until 2022. Richard Peters is also the Founder and Director of PIC Therapeutics since 2016. Richard has experience at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals as a Corporate Advisor and previously held the positions of President, CEO, and Director. Richard was the SVP, Head of Global Rare Diseases and JAPAC Specialty Care BU Head at Sanofi Genzyme and served as Co-Founder, Investor, and Director at X4 Pharmaceuticals. Richard Peters, MD, PhD has an education history that includes a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School from 1993 to 1996. During this time, they specialized in Structural Biology as a Howard Hughes Post-doctoral Fellow.
