Shawna Castillo

Director of Care at TeleVet

Shawna Castillo has a diverse work experience in the veterinary industry. Shawna began their career as a Veterinary Technician at National Veterinary Associates in 2011. Shawna then advanced to the roles of Office & Inventory Manager and Hospital Manager at the same company, where they demonstrated strong leadership skills and achieved financial targets. In 2015, they took on the position of Multi-Site Area Manager at National Veterinary Associates.

In 2018, Shawna joined Vet2Pet App Builders as a Customer Success Manager, and later became the Director of Customer Success in 2019. Shawna excelled in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

In 2021, Shawna became a Senior Customer Success Manager, Strategic Accounts at VCP, now Covetrus Care Plans. In this role, they successfully managed key accounts and ensured customer satisfaction.

Currently, Shawna is the Director of Care at TeleVet, starting in 2022.

Shawna Castillo holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Animal Sciences and Industry from Kansas State University. Additionally, they have obtained a BS degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism from the same university. Shawna also holds a minor in International Agriculture from Kansas State University. In terms of certifications, they have completed the "Fundamentals of Agile Project Management" course from the Project Management Institute in September 2022. Furthermore, Shawna obtained certifications in "Customer Experience: Service Blueprinting" and "Design Thinking: Customer Experience" from LinkedIn in July 2022 and June 2022, respectively.
