Zoe Waters

Research Assistant at Telethon Kids Institute

Zoe Waters has a diverse work experience in the field of psychology. Zoe started their career as a Psychology Tutor at Murdoch University from August 2019 to June 2020. From March 2021 to June 2022, they worked as a Provisional Psychologist at the Robin Winkler Clinic. Zoe then had multiple roles in 2022, including serving as a Provisional Psychologist at headspace and 360 Health + Community, where they provided therapy and support to young people and clients with psychosocial disabilities, respectively. Zoe also worked as a Research Assistant at Edith Cowan University starting from July 2022. Since 2019, they have been a Research Assistant at the Telethon Kids Institute. Zoe will be joining Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital as a Provisional Psychologist from January 2023 to July 2023.

Zoe Waters pursued their education in psychology, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at The University of Western Australia from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, they also spent a year at University College Dublin, where they delved into Social Sciences.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Zoe obtained an Honours degree in Psychology at The University of Western Australia in 2019. During this year, they also acquired additional certifications, such as ASIST from LivingWorks and the Understanding Dementia Course from the University of Tasmania.

Continuing their academic journey, Zoe entered The University of Western Australia once again in 2020, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Clinical Psychology, both in the field of psychology. Zoe completed these degrees in 2024.

Throughout their education, Zoe also obtained certifications specific to their field. In 2018, they received training in Brief Alcohol Intervention from the UWA Health Promotion Unit, and in the same year, they obtained their Mental Health First Aid - Standard certification from Mental Health First Aid Australia. In 2020, Zoe acquired the title of "Psychologist [Provisional]" from the AHPRA (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).

Zoe's education history also includes their attendance at Shenton College from 2013 to 2015, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period.
