Vincent Kuek has a diverse background in research, primarily focused on the field of bone-related diseases. Vincent worked as a Postdoctoral Research Officer at the Telethon Kids Institute, where they conducted studies on acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) cells and bone cells, as well as testing new pharmacological strategies for the treatment of ALL. Prior to this, they were a Research Associate and Research Scientist at the University of Western Australia, where they managed research projects, performed laboratory tasks, and collaborated with fellow researchers on scientific studies. Vincent also served as a Graduate Researcher and PhD Candidate at the University of Western Australia, successfully completing their PhD project and publishing several papers. Additionally, they gained experience as a Research Supervisor for undergraduate students and mentored international medical students in their research work. Before their time at the University of Western Australia, Vincent worked as a Hospital Scientist at the ANZAC Research Institute.
Vincent Kuek pursued their education at The University of Western Australia. Vincent obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Hons) degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology, graduating between 2007 and 2010. Later on, from 2012 to 2016, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the same university.
