Jennifer Beer has a diverse work experience in the field of communications. Jennifer currently holds the position of Communications Specialist at Telethon Kids Institute since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Water Corporation as a Specialist - CEO and Executive Communication, Corporate Affairs from March 2022 to March 2023. Jennifer also has extensive experience in the education sector, having served as the Communications Manager at John Curtin College of the Arts; Department of Education from January 2016 to March 2022. In this role, they were responsible for developing and managing internal and external communications and provided strategic public relations and marketing advice to the Principal. Jennifer also held the position of Communications Consultant at the same institution from October 2007 to December 2015. Jennifer has also been involved in academia, working as a Sessional Tutor Public Relations and Unit Coordinator Public Relations at Curtin University from October 2015 to January 2021 and September 2017 to January 2018, respectively. Additionally, they served as a Communications Consultant at the Department of Education, Western Australia from April 2017 to August 2017. Jennifer Beer completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Anthropology and Human Biology from The University of Western Australia from 1997 to 2000. Jennifer later pursued their Master of Public Relations degree with a focus on Public Relations and Marketing at Curtin University from 2005 to 2007.
