Jiby Jacob has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Jiby currently holds the position of Director, Products and Commercial Solutions at Telesat since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Product Manager (Commercial) at Telesat from January 2018 to November 2022.

Before joining Telesat, Jiby worked at China Mobile International Limited as a Business Development Manager from December 2016 to December 2017. In this role, they were responsible for providing connectivity services and managing high bandwidth submarine cables linking continents.

Jiby also worked at Gulfnet Communications Company as the Head of International Carrier Sales & Product Management from February 2015 to May 2016. Jiby'sresponsibilities included streamlining and standardizing the company's product portfolio.

Prior to that, Jiby worked at Batelco in various roles. Jiby served as a Global Sales Manager from August 2011 to February 2015, where they managed the International Business segment. Jiby also worked as a Product Marketing Manager from September 2009 to July 2011, where they developed and managed product-marketing initiatives.

Earlier in their career, Jiby worked at Batelco-ICT ANIS as a Sales Manager from June 2007 to August 2009, and at Arabian Network Information Services as an Account Manager from 2001 to 2006.

Jiby Jacob completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of Madras between 1996 and 1999. Prior to this, Jiby attended Seth Chunilal Damodardas Barfivala High School. Additionally, Jiby has obtained certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in February 2022 and MEF Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional (MEF-CECP) from MEF Forum in October 2019.
