Essam Sbita is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in satellite systems and earth station engineering. Currently serving as an Earth Station Specialist at Telesat since February 2017, Essam leads technical efforts for LEO Landing Stations and advanced network engineering, providing expertise in system design, project management, and customer support. Previous positions include RF and Network Specialist at Bell, focusing on public safety communication networks, and Owner of Canadian Hybrid Business Solution, Inc. Additionally, Essam held various roles at ARABSAT, including Senior Satellite Systems Specialist, where responsibilities included program coordination for the development of the 5G satellite fleet. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Electronics/Communications from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
