Hamizan Baku is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various roles, primarily at Google since January 2012, where responsibilities include Human Rights Officer, Software Engineering Team Lead, Education Program Specialist, and Policy Specialist in Privacy Trust and Safety. In addition to the tenure at Google, Hamizan has taken on multiple Business Owner roles across several prominent companies, including vivo, Huawei, Telegram Messenger, Amazon, Spotify, Apple, WhatsApp, and Realme Malaysia, starting in November 2022 for most and a continued role at WhatsApp since January 2010. Education includes attendance at Sk Bengkongan Kota Marudu and SMK Bengkongan Kota Marudu in Sabah.
