Javier Martínez Borreguero has over 20 years of experience in launching products that integrate cutting-edge technologies. Currently, they are the Industry 4.0 Global Head at Telefónica Tech, where they are focused on establishing Telefónica Tech as a leader in the integration of enabling technologies for Industry 4.0.

Prior to their current role, Javier held various positions at Telefónica, including Global Head of IoT Connected Devices / Things Ready, Global Head of Go To Market - Smart Home IoT, Senior Manager - Global IT Operating Model, IT Organization & Transformation Manager, Sales Planning Manager, Sales Engineer Manager, and Core Network Engineer.

Additionally, Javier has worked as an Adjunct Professor of Sustainable Entrepreneurship at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where they have been dedicated to nurturing business innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship.

Before joining Telefónica, Javier worked as a researcher at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, focusing on research in smart antennas for mobile and satellite communications systems.
