Ryan Silva is a Mechanical Manufacturing Process Area Engineer at Teledyne Defense Electronics, specializing in the Collector component of the TWT product line and leading process improvements. Previous experience includes serving as a Mechanical Design and Structural Analysis Engineer at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, focusing on engineering changes for the BQM-167 target drone, and as Chief Thermal Engineer for the student-led Space and Satellite Systems organization, which developed UC Davis's first CubeSat. Additional roles include Avionics & Manufacturing Engineer with the Advanced Modeling and Aeronautics Team and an internship at the University of Louisville researching gas microfluidics. Ryan's early aerospace involvement includes participation in NASA's Community College Aerospace Scholar program. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
