Marcelo Rosa Cavalheiro has over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. Currently serving as the Regional Director of Operations at Telecare Corporation since April 1997, Marcelo manages public contracts for community services in LA County and Southern Arizona, focusing on vulnerable populations such as the formerly unhoused and individuals with serious mental illnesses. Prior to this role, Marcelo was the clinical coordinator at Community Research Foundation from 1991 to 1997, overseeing crisis centers in San Diego and functioning as a bilingual therapist. Marcelo's early career included a position as a child psychologist at Centro Lydia Coriat from 1986 to 1990, working with children with autism and various genetic disorders. Marcelo holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from National University and a degree in psychology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
