Michael Rhodes joined Teksouth as a software developer in 1998. Since then, Michael has filled progressively challenging technical and management roles. Today he is Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for the strategic vision and direction for corporate technology.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in geology and a minor in computer science from the University of Alabama in 1988. With over twenty-five years of management experience in software development, business intelligence, data analytics, enterprise systems architecture and IT operations, he is known for his accountability and results oriented approach.
Michael’s wide-ranging duties include establishing the company’s technology strategies and leading all aspects of the company’s product and technological strategic direction in alignment with corporate business objectives and revenue goals. This includes the oversight and management of all technology resources, client enterprise project activities, as well as Teksouth’s internal IT operations and IT infrastructure. Michael is responsible for continually evaluating, exploring and integrating new technology to align with departmental and organizational objectives. Among other things, Michael also works to enhance employee productivity, partner engagements, and the company’s competitive advantage while implementing proven best-practices, processes and methods for CMMI and CMMC compliance and certifications.
Michael resides in Gardendale, Alabama with the love of his life, his wife Kathie of 27 years. They have three children and four grandchildren.
