Iris Delgado Alatorre has extensive experience in the field of production and operations. Iris is currently working as an Associate Director of Operations at Teknova since June 2021. Previously, they worked at Abbott as a Production Supervisor from December 2018 to June 2021.

Prior to Abbott, Iris worked at Teknova in various roles. From November 2017 to December 2018, they served as the Director of Production, responsible for managing daily production, operational metrics, and a team of manufacturing employees. From September 2016 to November 2017, they worked as a Production Manager, implementing changes for certification audits and utilizing ERP and QMS systems. From November 2015 to September 2016, they held the position of Formulation and Filtration Labs Manager, focusing on aseptic techniques, inventory systems, and time management studies. Iris also had a brief experience as an Assistant Production Manager in 2016.

Starting their career at Teknova in 2013, Iris initially worked as a Filtration Lab Technician, demonstrating expertise in aseptic techniques and achieving increased efficiency. Iris then served as a Lab Lead, responsible for leading a team and improving workflow and operating procedures.

Iris Delgado Alatorre earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a major in Molecular Biology and a minor in Chemistry from San Jose State University, attending from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General from Gavilan College, studying from 2008 to 2009. In 2018, Iris obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute.
