Katrine Nielsen is an experienced professional with a strong background in environmental chemistry and engineering science. Currently serving as a Business Manager and Project Manager at the Danish Technological Institute since February 2021, Katrine has previously held roles as a Guest Researcher at Università Ca'​ Foscari di Venezia and as an Innovation Specialist and Postdoc at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. With a Master's degree in Environmental and Analytical Chemistry and a PhD focusing on particles and pollution in stormwater, Katrine possesses expertise in analyzing pharmaceuticals in biological samples and investigating the transport of xenobiotic contaminants.
