J. Rofes has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Beginning in 2007, they worked as an Architecte sécurité with SPIE Communications for a year and then joined ON-X as a Consultant sécurité des systèmes d'information and worked there for two and a half years. In 2011, J. Rofes worked as a Responsable sécurité du système d'information with Astek for two and a half years, then joined infomil as an Expert CyberSécurité for a year and then moved to iMSA as an Architecte CyberSécurité, where they worked for eight years till 2023. Currently, J. Rofes is working as a Technical Account Manager with TEHTRIS since February 2023. Before Time for the Planet, J. Rofes also worked with them as an Associé earlier in 2021.

J. Rofes has a degree from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, where they earned a Master 2 in IUP STRI (systèmes de télécommunications et réseaux informatiques) between 2002 and 2008. Afterwards, they have completed several professional development courses, including various cybersecurity and information technology fields at Orsys, Hervé Schauer 2, Capgemini, Alcyonix, and SQLi. J. Rofes has also completed a course in Enterprise Architecture from the OPENGROUP.
