Claudio Giardini has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Claudio started their career as a Professor at the University of Brescia in 1986 and held this position until 2004. From 2004 onwards, they joined the University of Bergamo as a Full Professor in Technology and Manufacturing Systems. Alongside their role as a professor, they also took on various teaching responsibilities and was involved in the management of the university. Claudio Giardini served as the Dean of the Engineering School from 2015 to 2018 and later became the Chair of the Quality Assurance Board from 2019 to 2021. Claudio is currently a member of the "Centro sulle dinamiche economiche, sociali e della cooperazione" (CESC) and the Quality Assurance Board. Additionally, they are a member of the board of directors at AITeM - Associazione Italiana Tecnologie Manifatturiere and is the Technical Director of the "Stampi" journal at Tecniche Nuove Spa.
Claudio Giardini pursued their education in Mechanical Engineering at Università degli Studi di Brescia from 1978 to 1983, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree.
