Jim Grant is a Senior Civil Structural Engineer at Teck Resources Limited, leading the infrastructure development for the Fording River Expansion Project since January 2021. With extensive experience in project management and engineering roles across various companies, Jim previously worked as a Project Manager at Imperial Oil and held leadership positions at Nexen and Husky Energy, where Jim directed engineering teams on multi-million-dollar projects in the oilsands sector. Jim's background includes a strong focus on civil and structural design, effective communication between contractors, and the integration of geotechnical data to achieve project efficiency. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
