James also has experience in management consulting and strategic planning at SphereAlytics Strategies, LLC, and in supporting the Department of Defense as a Senior Information Systems Strategy Manager. James has served in various positions within the United States Army Reserve and has worked on projects related to knowledge management, enterprise architecture, and international political-military policy. James'searlier experience includes positions at the U.S. Department of State and Abertron Corporation. James Barr has a comprehensive education history. James attended the University of Maryland where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics. Following that, they pursued an Executive Masters of Business Administration degree with a focus on International Business at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, which they completed from 2012 to 2014.
In 2015, James undertook a specialized professional education program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to tackle the challenges of Big Data. Although they did not attain a specific degree, they received a certification for completing the program.
In addition to their academic achievements, James has also obtained various certifications.
