Shannon Liston currently serves as Senior Corporate Counsel at Techstars, a position held since October 2015, focusing on early-stage financings, mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, corporate licensing, and geographical expansion. Prior experience includes roles as Corporate Counsel at Techstars, where responsibilities involved legal due diligence and drafting investment agreements for early-stage U.S. companies, and a Law Clerk at Jason Wiener P.C. Additionally, Shannon has experience in portfolio management with the Deming Center Venture Fund, legal internship at MicroVest Capital Management, and served as Senior Tax Manager at KPMG US. Shannon holds a Juris Doctor degree in Corporate and Tax Law from the University of Colorado and a Master of Professional Accountancy from Louisiana Tech University.
