William Kasch

Technical Lead at Technology Unlimited Group

William Kasch has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on wireless networking and communication systems. William currently serves as the Technical Lead at Technology Unlimited Group, where they oversee the development of prototype and product for Government communications systems. William collaborated with the IEEE Standards Organization and Wiley Publishing in this role.

Kasch also has experience at Textron, where they held multiple roles. William served as the Director of Engineering and Software Development, leading a group of engineering professionals in building test and measurement products for the communications and network technology industries. Additionally, they worked as the Wireless R&D Lead, launching a product called AirScout Enterprise and developing software architecture for performing Wi-Fi measurements and deploying a cloud infrastructure for analyzing Wi-Fi survey results.

Earlier in their career, Kasch worked at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. William held various positions including Group Supervisor of the Wireless and Networked Systems group, Assistant Group Supervisor of the Communications and Networking Technology Group, Lead of the High Assurance Networks Section, Assistant Section Supervisor of the Wireless Networking Section, and Network/Wireless Engineer. In these roles, they led teams and developed strategies in areas such as automation, performance assessment, routing, transport, wireless, security, and protocols. William also contributed to the development of wireless and networking systems for government customers and actively participated in external organizations such as IEEE and IETF.

William Kasch completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the Florida Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2000. William then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University from 2000 to 2003.
