Durgesh Rai is currently a Sr Systems Engineer at NASA, focusing on projects such as the Chandra, Hubble, and James Webb telescopes. With a background in Materials Science and Engineering, Durgesh has worked on various research projects involving polymers, nanotubes, and diamond like carbon films. Durgesh has also held positions at Xenocs, Cornell University, MIT, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and the University of Cincinnati, where Durgesh conducted research in areas such as high-pressure SAXS cell development, neutron optics, and polymer solvent interactions. Additionally, Durgesh has a strong educational background with a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
