Kenneth Shumaker has been working in the IT field since 2003. From 2003 to 2008, they worked as a Deployment Specialist & IT Technician at Halifax Corporation. Kenneth then moved on to Bon Secours Health System, where they worked as a Help Desk Support Technician from 2008 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Valiant Technology, where they worked as an IT Technician and Change Management Team Leader until 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as an Information Technology Help Desk Technician at Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Cisco as a Release & Deployment Manager, Network Services.

Kenneth Shumaker attended Virginia Commonwealth University and studied Fine and Studio Arts. Kenneth then obtained a Technical Degree in Computer Information Systems from Hermitage Technical Center. In May 2010, they earned a CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA.
