Nicholas Wilkie began their work experience in 2011 at Birch Aquarium at Scripps, where they worked as a Graphic Designer and 3D Modeler. Nicholas collaborated with the Scripps Design Department to create a 3D model of the aquarium for fundraising presentations. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Advertising Specialist at Cee Cee Nails. In 2013, they co-founded Visual Vapes and served as the Website Administrator and Graphic Designer. In 2016, Nicholas began working as a Professional Dog Walker at Wag Labs Inc. and as a Freelance 3D Artist at NWilkie3D, where they designed and created various 3D artwork and marketed it through online stores. In 2019, they worked as an Information Technology Solutions Specialist at Visualnet Media Inc. Currently, Nicholas works at Technologent as a System Engineer. Nicholas contributes to an agile team, managing QA for the development team and creating IaaS pipelines using Jenkins, Packer, and Terraform.

Nicholas Wilkie's education history begins with their high school diploma from Carlsbad High School, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they attended MiraCosta College from 2011 to 2015, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree with a focus on Liberal Arts and an emphasis in Business and Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Nicholas has obtained several certifications. These include ServiceNow Fundamentals from ServiceNow in April 2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in March 2021, AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals 2020 from Linux Academy in November 2020, Double VCP – Data Center Virtualization & Cloud Management, VMware Certified Professional - Cloud Management and Automation 2020, VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2020, VMware vSphere 6.7 Foundations, and VMware Certified Associate - Digital Business Transformation 2020, all from VMware and obtained in various months of 2020. Additionally, they obtained a Red Hat Delivery Specialist - Automation certification from Red Hat in March 2020, MTA: Windows Operating System Fundamentals - Certified 2019 from Microsoft in June 2019, and a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist for Business certification from MiraCosta College in August 2015. Furthermore, they are slated to obtain an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2022.
