Prashant Tanksale has a diverse and extensive work experience in engineering and project management. Prashant started their career at Gharda Chemicals as a Sr. Project Engineer in 1992 and remained in this role until December 2000. From 2001 to 2002, they worked at Chemtex as a Senior Engineer. In 2002, Prashant joined Technip as a Sr. Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Principal Engineer-Piping&Layout in 2011. Prashant worked at Technip until 2021. Currently, Prashant is employed at McDermott International, Ltd as a Project Engineering Manager, a role they started in March 2021. In March 2023, they were promoted to the position of Senior Engineering Manager at the same company.

Prashant Tanksale obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering Karad, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. In 1998, they pursued a certificate course in Piping Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, which they completed in 1999. Later, in 2015, Prashant pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Oil and Gas from UPES, where they studied until 2017.
