Kamalakar Y is a Principal Software Engineer at Technicolor, specializing in Android Setup box development since August 2021. Prior to this role, Kamalakar served as Tech Lead at Borqs Software Solutions from October 2019 to August 2021, focusing on Embedded Android Audio & Media framework and drivers for Mobile and Automotive Infotainment. Kamalakar's extensive experience in the field spans over 12 years at LG Soft India, where responsibilities included Technical Project Management with an emphasis on Android Audio & Media firmware and driver development for Mobile Chipset and Automotive Infotainment systems. Kamalakar holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computers and Communications from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, completed between 2005 and 2007.
