John Padfield is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in mechanical design and project management. Currently serving as an Application/Systems Engineer at Technical Services since June 2023, John specializes in thermal management solutions for the EV and Hydrogen Fuel Cell automotive sectors. Previously, as a Mechanical Design Engineer at AESSEAL from January 2022 to February 2023, John focused on designing mechanical seal support systems to enhance the safety and reliability of pumps. From September 2018 to June 2020, John worked as a Project Engineer at Facultatieve Technologies, managing installation projects for cremation systems in the UK and France, demonstrating expertise in budget control and contractor relationships. John holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering with Aerospace from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Systems Engineering from Newcastle University.
