As a Principal at TechMDinc, Joe manages the design, programming and installation of large scale audio, video and show control (AVC) systems for themed entertainment attractions, museum exhibits, and performance venues. Joe led the AVC production of the 2015 update of Journey to Mars: Explorers Wanted at Kennedy Space Center, the Bud Selig Experience at Miller Park, and the Power of Rock Experience at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He joined TechMDinc in March 2010 as an Associate Engineer, moved into the role of Audio Video Engineer in 2014, and became a Principal in 2017. Joe holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sound Design from the University of California, Irvine, where he worked with faculty and sound staff to produce several large shows each year and taught introductory sound design courses. Before coming to California, Joe served as sound engineer for the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee in Washington State and earned his bachelor’s in Theater Design and Management from Central Washington University.
