Samina Seth has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Samina began their career in 1999 as the Head of Corporate Marketing and Communications for ABN AMRO Bank in Hong Kong and China. In 2000, they joined HSBC as a Senior Project Manager for Global Internet Banking and a Senior CRM Manager for Personal Financial Services. Samina then moved to Barclays Investment Bank in 2005 as a Business Project Manager. In 2010, they were a Strategy & Change Management Consultant for COUTTS & COMPANY in Asia. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Senior Marketing Specialist II (contract) for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Global Marketing and Corporate Affairs in APAC. In 2016, they co-founded Techlets Pvt. Ltd. and also served as its Director. In 2018, they became a Consultant for Management Systems International as a Mobile Technology Expert. Finally, in 2019, they co-founded WALEE.

Samina Seth started their education journey at King George Vth School, where they obtained GCE O/AS/A Levels, with 8 O levels, 1 A/S Level, and 3 A Levels between 1982 and 1988. Samina then attended California State University-Sacramento, obtaining a B.Sc. in MIS and Finance, with a Minor in Economics between 1989 and 1992. Samina then pursued an MBA in Marketing & Finance at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology between 1994 and 1996. After that, they obtained an Executive Diploma in E-Commerce from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2001 and 2002. Finally, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Electronic Commerce & Internet Computing from The University of Hong Kong between 2012 and 2014. Samina Seth is also a Certified E-Commerce Consultant from the CEC Institute and holds a Prince II certification from APM GROUP-THE ACCREDITOR LTD.
