Jacob King is an Engineering Manager at Techex, having transitioned to this role in November 2023. Prior to this position, Jacob served at DAZN for over four years, progressing from a Broadcast Systems Engineer to Broadcast Systems Engineering Manager. Jacob started at Techex in 2015 as a Technical Consultant and held various engineering roles before returning as a Graduate Broadcast Engineer. Responsibilities throughout the career include designing bespoke broadcast solutions, configuring live broadcast equipment, testing new systems, and providing technical support and training. Jacob holds a BEng(Hons) in Digital Broadcast Technology from Salford University, complemented by A Levels in Chemistry, Mathematics, English Literature, and Music Technology from Bilborough College. Extensive experience with prominent broadcast equipment manufacturers and impactful roles within the industry characterize Jacob's professional background.
