Tara Burchmore is an experienced professional in public policy and economic affairs, currently serving as an Economic Policy Fellow in the United States Senate under Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand. Previously, Tara held the position of Financial Innovation Caucus Fellow in the office of Senator Cynthia M. Lummis as part of the TechCongress Fellowship program. Additional experience includes roles at Google as a Public Policy Fellow and at the United Nations Foundation as a Summer Associate in Programs & Impact with Girl Up. Tara's background also encompasses positions at Spur Community Foundation, The Glover Park Group, Genentech, Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, and a legislative internship in the United States Senate. Educational qualifications include a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, where Tara focused on Democracy, Politics, and Institutions, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Public Policy from Dartmouth College.
