Sonia Behzad's work experience begins in 2012 as a Technical Recruiter at Sapta Global Inc, where they managed the complete recruitment process and placed individuals in contracts and full-time jobs. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an IT Recruiter at Quadrant Inc.

In 2019, they joined Kings Dominion as part of the Human Resources team, where they prepared and updated employment records, explained HR policies and procedures to employees, and addressed any employment relations issues. During the same period, they also worked as an Employment Specialist at Catholic Charities Diocese of Arlington, where they coordinated employment and training services, performed employment intake, and developed employment plans for refugees.

From 2021 to 2022, Sonia worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Thriveworks, where they monitored employee posts, investigated complaints, and maintained knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
