Sagar Mahajan began their work experience in 2013 as a Manager at QuinStreet, where they worked until 2016. In 2016, they joined J.P. Morgan as an Associate but left after a few months. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Senior System Engineer at EdgeVerve. In 2017, they joined Tech9 as a Senior Software Engineer and later became a Principal Software Engineer in September 2021. Sagar is currently employed with Tech9.

Sagar Mahajan completed their education in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. Sagar earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree from Walchand College of Engineering (A Govt. Aided Autonomous Institute) in Sangli, M.S. during the period from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Government Polytechnic in Washim from 2007 to 2010, where they pursued a Diploma/Polytechnic degree in Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Sagar Mahajan has acquired additional certifications. In July 2012, they obtained the IBM DB2 Academic Associate: DB2 Database and Application Fundamentals certification from IBM. Furthermore, they received the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in July 2018.
