Pete Mainardi is a software engineer with a diverse background in developing interactive applications and educational tools. Currently employed at Tech Wizards since June 2022, Pete previously served as a research developer at Texas A&M University, where a multiplayer collaborative building game was created to teach Target Value Design principles. Prior experience includes software development at The Cobalt Company, designing ASP.NET sites for Dynamics 365, and co-founding A Bit to the Left Software, LLC, where a physics-based graphical user interface for card games was developed. Additional roles include a technical specialist at Virginia Tech, implementing augmented reality for virtual tours, and a research assistant at POET Lab, improving performance in educational applications. Pete holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Technologies from Virginia Tech, and pursued a Master’s degree program in Visualization at Texas A&M University.
