Sofia Wheeler is an Education Program Associate and Teacher at Tech Kids Unlimited since August 2022, where responsibilities include leading workshops for diverse high school and college students and creating accessible digital curricula. Previously, Sofia served as a REU Research Intern at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University from June to August 2022, contributing to the transformation of a prototype through UI design and conducting user-centered co-design sessions. Sofia's experience at Tech Kids Unlimited also includes a role as a Counselor in June 2021. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Digital Media at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, Sofia is expected to graduate in 2024 and is a former vocal student at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School.
