Kavitha Gunasekaran has worked in the software engineering industry since 2007. Kavitha began their career as a .NET Consultant at Humana in 2007 and then moved on to become a Senior .NET Consultant at Black & Decker HHI in 2009. In 2010, they took on a Senior .NET Consultant role at First American Title, as well as a Senior Software Engineer role at MySpace Music. Kavitha then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Spark Networks from 2011 to 2017, before taking on their current role as Lead Software Engineer at Tech Holding in 2017.

Kavitha Gunasekaran earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from SVCE between 2001 and 2005. Kavitha then went on to receive a Masters in Computer and Information Sciences from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2007. In April of 2007, they also obtained a Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft.
