Lukas Boril is an experienced Systems Engineer and Senior Application Scientist at Tecan, where responsibilities include leading technical projects, coordinating between software development and application groups, and specializing in liquid handling applications. Previously, Lukas served as a Development Engineer RnD at Roche Diagnostics International AG, focusing on liquid handling experiments and usability studies. Additional experience includes roles as a Civil Service Researcher and Laboratory Technician at the University of Basel and the University of Zurich, respectively. Lukas holds a Master of Science in Biology with a specialization in Genetics and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Object Oriented Programming from ZHAW School of Engineering, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
