Eric Scheitz is an experienced professional in the field of engineering, with a diverse background in application science, sales, and design. Since April 2010, Eric has held multiple roles at Tecan, including Sales Engineer for Liquid Handling and Senior Application Scientist, focusing on the installation, repair, and maintenance of lab automation platforms. Prior to Tecan, Eric worked as a Design Project Engineer at ITW Delpro, where design innovations included a motorized headlamp adjuster, and gained hands-on experience in SolidWorks and finite element analysis. Additional experience includes an Engineering Registration Lab Assistant position at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Motorola Mobile Devices, contributing to cell phone design and reliability testing. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, following education at Michigan Technological University.
