Mike Hafner started their work experience in 1997 as a Co-op in the Traffic Engineering Division of the City of Cincinnati. Mike then moved on to TEC Engineering in 2000, where they served as a Design Engineer until 2004. From there, they became a Project Manager at TEC Engineering until their most recent role as Vice President of Engineering, which they began in December 2015.

Mike Hafner attended the University of Cincinnati from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have acquired certifications as a Professional Engineer from the State of Ohio and as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer from the Transportation Professional Certification Board.
