Rita Cosentino has extensive experience in the performing arts, currently serving as the Artistic Director at Teatro Real since 2006, where responsibilities include designing the artistic programming for the educational season and overseeing production and budget management. Cosentino has simultaneously worked as a Director of Staging since 2004, contributing to numerous operas and theatrical productions, including notable works such as Madama Butterfly and Rigoletto. Previously, from 1998 to 2007, Cosentino held the position of Artistic Coordinator at Teatro Colón, focusing on opera and contemporary dance production. Cosentino's academic background includes a degree in Opera Staging from the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón and a specialization in Drawing and Painting from Bellas Artes IUNA.
