Mike has 10+ years of NYC startup experience where he designed and engineered custom software in various roles including Head of Product and Head of Engineering. Mike’s skillset and experience ranges from building highly scalable ad-tech in partnership with Microsoft and Google, to creating the first bespoke peer-to-peer networking and content delivery platform for Chief Marketing Officers (acquired by Salesforce). He was also the founding product designer and engineer of hiregood.ca which today provides 1000s of employment opportunities to marginalized people in Canada. Mike has also served as an Advisor where he assisted tech companies backed by organizations like Sequoia Capital, Greylock and OpenView, to develop high performing product and engineering teams and to become more strategic about their product development processes. Prior to his technology work, Mike had a previous life as an M&A management consultant with Ernst & Young. Mike obtained his bachelor's and post graduate qualifications in Tech and Finance from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
