Tim Brown is a seasoned cybersecurity executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Villager at Team8 since June 2022, Tim is part of a global community of cybersecurity leaders. Simultaneously, Tim has been the VP of Security and CISO at SolarWinds since July 2017, contributing to tools and products for IT security. Prior roles include Chief Product Officer and Board Member at NopSec, Fellow and Cybersecurity Strategist at ITSPMagazine, and Dell Fellow and Executive Director of Security at Dell. Tim also served as CTO at CSID and held significant positions at CA and Symantec, focusing on security architecture, strategy, and identity management. Tim's career began as an engineer at Pilot Software, leading projects that advanced enterprise security solutions. Tim holds a BS in Computer Science from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
