Mark Samber, PhD

Mark Samber, PhD has extensive work experience in the digital marketing and healthcare industries. Mark is currently the Vice President of SI Labs at MHP/Team SI, where they lead the agency's innovation think tank and provides consulting services to clients. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant at the same company.

Before joining MHP/Team SI, Mark was a Visiting Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University from 2019 to 2021, where they focused on research in their field. Mark also worked as a Principal at MDS Strategic Digital Marketing, LLC from 2018 to 2021, helping organizations in healthcare prepare for digital transformation.

From 2017 to 2018, Mark held the position of VP Strategic Services, Digital & UX at MERGE Atlanta, Dodge Communications + AVID Design. Mark led a team in providing strategic insight and digital marketing solutions to healthcare clients.

Prior to that, Mark worked for the Medical University of South Carolina as the Director of Digital Strategy from 2013 to 2017. Mark was responsible for various aspects of web and digital marketing, including content development, search engine optimization, and digital marketing campaigns.

Mark's earlier work experience includes roles such as Digital and Interactive Strategy at LongWave Consulting Partners, Regional Sales Director at Sonic Foundry, and Director Channel Sales & Product Marketing at Meetinghouse.

Mark began their career at Wunderkind Studios, where they co-founded the digital agency and managed business development and client strategy.

Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, innovation, and healthcare industry. Mark holds a PhD and has proven to be a valuable asset in helping organizations achieve their business goals more efficiently.

Mark Samber, PhD obtained their Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees from Carnegie Mellon University, specializing in History & Public Policy. Mark completed their education at Carnegie Mellon University from 1985 to 1993.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dr. Samber has obtained several certifications in the field of digital marketing. In October 2020, they earned certifications in SEMrush Keyword Research, SEMrush Rank Tracking, SEMrush SEO Fundamentals, SEMrush SEO Toolkit, SEMrush Site Audit, and SEMrush Technical SEO from SEMrush. In May 2019, they also achieved certifications in SEM Rush SEO Toolkit and SEO Fundamentals. Furthermore, they obtained a Google Analytics Certification from Google in August 2022.
