Tommy Tong is an experienced professional in the medical device industry with a strong background in product development and quality engineering. Currently serving as an Independent Advisor and Trainer at Team ELITE since April 2017, Tommy specializes in FinFit Life as a Field Trainer and Tax Free Retirement strategist. Additionally, Tommy is the Co-Host for the West Coast segment of the Happy Neighborhood Project since May 2021. Previously, from November 2003 to April 2017, Tommy held the position of Senior R&D Quality Engineer at Abbott Diabetes Care, focusing on compliance with regulations for product design control, and served as a Principal Product Development Quality Engineer. Tommy's earlier experience includes roles at Perclose/Abbott Vascular, HeartPort Inc, and Sorin Biomedical, where expertise in medical device design and development was cultivated. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University and an Associate of Science in Pre-Engineering from Santa Rosa Junior College.
