Theresa Moynahan has extensive work experience in event and conference management. Theresa is currently the Director of Events at Teaching Strategies, LLC since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Conferences & Meetings Manager at Macmillan Learning from February 2019 to January 2022. From January 2016 to February 2019, Theresa worked as an Independent Consultant and Partner specializing in tradeshow and event strategic management. Before that, they held various roles at Pearson from May 2003 to December 2015, including Manager of Conferences & Meetings, Manager of K12 Conferences, and Event & Associations Manager. Theresa also holds certifications in virtual event and meeting management from the Event Leadership Institute and ON24, obtained in October 2020 and July 2020 respectively. Furthermore, Theresa has completed several LinkedIn courses, including "Coaching for Results," "Transitioning from Manager to Leader," "Communication within Teams," and "Leading Effectively," all obtained in 2020. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Cvent Event Management and Cvent Event Management Advanced from Cvent in August 2020.
