Lynette Guastaferro is the Chief Executive Officer at Teaching Matters since August 1997. Lynette oversees the strategy, growth, and governance of the organization while focusing on developing the capacity of urban teachers and leaders to address the needs of students in marginalized communities. Prior to their current role, Lynette worked as a Network Leader in New York City schools and as a Director of Strategic Initiatives at Teaching Matters. Lynette also has experience as a Teacher at Holy Spirit Elementary School and as a Senior Consultant at Price Waterhouse Coopers. Lynette holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University and a BA in Political Economics from Williams College.
